I would like to invite you to the opening reception of my current body of work, Human Landscapes. The opening is going to be on June 1st from 5-7 PM at Mocha Rizing. Here is a bit of background on my current work:

In this series of photographs I explore mankind’s relationships and conflicts to himself and his environment, within a more modernized world. Through this juxtaposition, I focus on the simplicity of the figure by viewing it through the same lens which he examines the natural world. Seeing as each image is composed of two different frames, this allows for an apparent conflict between the two images. Just as there is conflict between the human subject and the natural element accompanying them. There is the possibility these images question dominance verse subservience. [read more…]
