REBECCA BOYDEN (Executive Director) got her start in Technical Theatre at The Barnstormers Theatre, Tamworth, NH in the late 60’s; continuing on to The Marlboro Theatre Company, VT. Following that she spent 25 years as a Technical Director, Designer, Stage Manager and Production Manager in major regional theatres including work at Trinity Repertory Company, Long Wharf Theatre and Hartford Stage, Ms. Boyden was most recently Manager of Community Partners in Action’s Prison Arts Program in Connecticut. In four years there she organized classes and exhibitions, wrote grants, designed publications, managed the budget and was the liaison between the Prison Arts Program and the CT Department of Correction. She has been Set Designer and Production Manager for all of ATTP’s summer productions, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of ATTP.

MARK WOOLLETT has been a leading member of Advice To The Players since 2004. His directing credits include The Comedy of Errors, Hamlet & The Life & Death of that Dastardly Villain Richard the Third (aka, “The Bunch Back’d Toad”). His many company acting credits include the title role in Henry V, Petruchio in The Taming Of The Shrew, the title role in Macbeth, Touchstone in As You Like It, Malvolio in Twelfth Night and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing (nominated for a New Hampshire Theatre award). Locally in NH, he has also appeared in six plays with the Winnipesaukee Playhouse including Same Time Next Year, Rounding Third, Sylvia and Deathtrap. Mark spent nearly ten years at Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, Massachusetts working as an actor, teacher, producer, and administrator as well as acting in seventeen productions. Mark is also an original member of Tygres Heart Shakespeare Company in Portland, Oregon, and added an international credit with a Vietnamese production of Romeo and Juliet that he directed with wife Candace Clift. Mark graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon with degrees in Theatre Arts and Mathematics and spent two years teaching in Namibia (Southern Africa) with the United States Peace Corps.

CAROLINE NESBITT (Founder) started Advice To The Players in 1998, in response to a need for an accessible resident theatre that involved students and community at all levels. As an actor Caroline has appeared with New Art Theatre, Mount Washington Valley Theatre Company, New Hampshire Performing Arts Center, Seacoast Repertory Theatre, Hackmatack Repertory, etc., as well as in film and voice-overs. As a writer, her work has appeared in American Theatre, Teaching Theatre, The Boston Globe, TheaterMania.com, etc. She taught Theatre & Drama at The Community School (Tamworth, NH) for 13 years, was an adjunct professor of Acting at New Hampshire Institute of Art (Manchester, NH) for 2, and conducts many acting workshops for groups ranging from schools to libraries. Besides her work with Advice To The Players, Caroline directs Shakespeare productions for other companies. Her acting education includes two previous generations of acting Nesbitts, as well as Shakespeare work with David Perry (RADA, London Shakespeare School, etc.) and with Tina Packer, Dennis Krausnick, and Kevin Coleman at Shakespeare & Company of Lenox, MA. She has been honored by the New Hampshire Theatre Awards for her work with youth and children.
