On Wednesday evening, August 5th, from 7:00 to 8:00, local drummer and K. A. Brett School teacher John Marlowe will lead African drumming on the lawn of the Cook Memorial Library in Tamworth, as part of the library's Summer Reading Program. John will have plenty of drums available for people to use, and you are also welcome and encouraged to bring your own drum or drums. For more info call the library at 323-8510 or visit tamworthlibrary.org. Below see John drumming with his group Fote in Portsmouth, NH. John's the tall guy in the blue shirt.
