Final sharing by Aaron and his students on Friday, Nov. 19

Arts Council of Tamworth invites the public to a sharing of works-in-progress by Aaron Jafferis and his students at the K. A. Brett School in Tamworth, NH, on Friday, November 19, at 2:00 PM. Jafferis is ACT artist-in-residence at Brett this month, teaching poetry, hip-hop and theater to students of all ages. The performance will include original work by Jafferis, hip-hop scenes by students in the upper grades, and poetry and vignettes created by students in the lower grades. The performance is free, and is funded in part by the New England States Touring program of the New England Foundation for the Arts, made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program and the six New England state arts agencies, and made possible with support of business sponsor Hidden Automotive, The Tamworth Foundation, the K. A. Brett School, and the Tamworth PTA.
