Thank you to Miss Tess & The Bon Ton Parade

At certain concerts I've attended it feels like the artist or artists invite the audience into their living room. The musicians and audience draw closer together; an intimacy grows between them.

At The Brass Heart Inn the other night, Miss Tess and her band invited us into their living room, where we listened and smiled and danced. (And what dancing, on the little dance floor upstairs. We have some serious swing dancers in our midst here in Tamworth and Wonalancet—you know who you are!)

Many thanks to Miss Tess and The Bon Ton Parade for traveling so far north to play for us, on a tour that started in Florida. Thanks, too, to The Brass Heart Inn, for creating such a lovely environment in which to hear music. We look forward to more happy events there this winter and spring.

If you missed the concert on Saturday night, click on the links below to listen to some of Miss Tess's stellar songwriting—beginning with a lovely waltz, "The Bicycle Song," off her latest album—and the fine playing of all four. That woman's got some pipes on her!
