What fun to have Willie Laws at the Lyceum for a song circle, and big thanks to the wonderful musicians who joined him—at one moment the band included four guitars, accordion, harmonica, violin and vocals! I never cease to be amazed by, and do not take for granted, the extraordinary talent we are so lucky to have here in our community. Exciting to listen to Willie tell stories about his musical roots in Texas, and the roots of the Texas Blues, and then to see all the connections between musical styles and musicians created in one room, in one evening. Thank you to Jamie Oakes and the Tamworth Lyceum for hosting us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mf8uAIwnAu0
