Back by popular demand! Folks were so enthusiastic about the Willie J. Laws Band’s pre-Thanksgiving visit to Tamworth that Drylongso Productions with partner Arts Council of Tamworth are bringing them back to help us ring in the New Year—a Texas Blues Year's Eve! Want to know how great they are? At the last concert the crowd, one patron said, “erupted in dancing that went on and on... A man invited me to dance [and] we danced until something in his four-times pinned hip tore, and he danced some more. He said it was worth it, and I think he was right.” The music starts at 8:30 PM on Monday, December 31, at The Brass Heart Inn in Chocorua, NH, and will run into next year. Cash bar available. Local musicians are invited to come jam; email email@example.com so that sound tech Dennis Quinn can plan ahead for the evening’s tech needs.
