As part of Sandwich's Sestercentennial celebration, the "Sandwich Fashion Follies" will have a show in May featuring clothing across the decades. We want to represent as many decades as possible. Do you have that awesome outfit from the 1960s? how about the '50s, '40s or even that attic relic of the 1800s. Where's that leisure suit you wore? Dig out those poodle skirts, uniforms ( I wish I had my old waitress uniform we had to wear), old hat, accessories, ANYTHING that depicts what was worn in any decade from 1763 to 2013. We welcome you to model your own, or let us find someone to model it for you (we don't all fit into those old clothes). Maybe your outfit has a historic story to tell. We plan to incorporate music for each decade we plan to do. This will be so much fun!
This is sponsored by the Sandwich Historical Society and the Sandwich Woman's Club and will take place in May (date to come) at the Craft building at the Fair grounds. We would love your input!
