"Sylvie", or, The arts: the gift that keeps on giving...

When Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem sang "Sylvie" at the Brett School, not only did they quiet a roomful of excited dancing kids, they inspired some of those kids to ask Lisa Ferguson, their music teacher, to help them learn to sing it.

I was lucky enough to catch a snippet of one of their early rehearsals:

Listen to the song in its entirety here, performed by Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem at The Barnstormers Theatre, on Friday, May 31.

The Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem residency was sponsored by Addison Mason Builders, BEAM Construction Associates, Inc., Chocorua Camping Village, Hidden Automotive, Paul L. King Land Surveying & Civil Engineering, North Country Fair JewelersYankee Smokehouse, and is funded in part by the New England States Touring program of the New England Foundation for the Arts, made possible with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program and the six New England state arts agencies, and with support from the K.
