First day with Marcy Schepker

Work began today on our needle-felted community murals. Brett kids working with Marcy Schepker planned and began murals and worked on individual projects. Each class had the opportunity to make decisions about the group pieces. The first class of the day, the exemplary second grade, decided that the four panels representing the four seasons would be landscape, not portrait, began the summer panel, and decided it would have a lake in it. Fourth graders began the winter panel, and decided it would depict evening in winter. We want you to contribute to the murals, too! Come work with Marcy on Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Tamworth Lyceum, on Wednesday from 4:00-5:30 PM at the Cook Library, and on Thursday from 1:00-2:00 PM at The Community School.
