How Snapdragon Works—and its Needs
Snapdragon and ATTP work separately, with different modes of operation. Snapdragon is an offshoot of Tamworth Learning Circles, under the direct supervision of the board of this 501 (c) 3 non-profit educational charity. We have long experience of our market: Snapdragon works to a formula whereby families are asked to contribute directly 50% of the running costs of productions and teaching programs. The rest has to be raised through donations and grants, and from monies received at the venue door. By far the largest direct cost is paying our teaching and directing staff: administration and all ancillary costs are kept to a bare minimum. Every time a child is enrolled in a production or a series of classes, we need to subsidize that place by $60-$70. We invite you all to consider helping us subsidize these places, on behalf of your own or of other families.
